Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1–2 cups water (for steaming)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon lemon juice or garlic butter

Method
 

  1. Wash broccoli and cut into even-sized florets.
  2. Boil the water in a pot.
