Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 cups Everclear or vodka (adjust for strength)
  • 1 lemon (sliced)

  • Fine mesh strainer
  • Mason jars or glass bottles
  • Wooden spoon
  • Funnel

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, combine blueberries, sugar, and water.
  2. Simmer until the berries burst and the mixture thickens slightly.
  3. Gently strain the solid mixture, then cool the finely strained liquid.
  4. Add alcohol and stir gently to combine.
  5. Pour into mason jars, seal, and let rest for at least 2 weeks.
  6. Serve chilled or mix with lemonade for a refreshing drink!

  • Use fresh blueberries for the best natural flavor.
  • Store in airtight jars away from sunlight.
