Ingredients
  

  • ½ Cup Apple or raspberry jelly
  • ¼ Cup Red bell pepper (finely chopped)
  • 1–2 tbsp Fresh jalapeños (minced)
  • 2 tbsp White vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Sugar (optional, depending on jelly sweetness)
  • ½ tbsp Crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tbsp Add 1 tbsp cornstarch & 2 tbsp of water (for thickening of the sauce)

  • 1 Medium saucepan
  • 1 Knife and chopping board
  • 1 Measuring cups and spoons
  • 1 Small bowl (for slurry)
  • 1 Spoon or whisk

Method
 

  1. 1️⃣ Combine jelly, peppers, vinegar, sugar, and red pepper in saucepan.
  2. 2️⃣ Simmer on medium-low for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. 3️⃣ Mix cornstarch & water; stir it well.
  4. 4️⃣ Simmer another 2–3 minutes until thickened.

Notes

For a milder sauce, skip the jalapeños or reduce the red pepper flakes. Want it spicier? Add extra fresh chilies or a dash of hot sauce. Try swapping apple jelly with raspberry or apricot for exciting flavor variations!
