Ingredients

Main Ingredients:
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional toppings:
  • Feta cheese
  • Tahini drizzle
  • Sesame seeds
  • Honey drizzle

Equipment

  • Baking tray or sheet pan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Knife & cutting board
  • Measuring spoons
  • Spatula or tongs
  • Oven or air fryer
  • Chef tip: Use parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Method

  1. Prep Broccoli: Wash, dry, and cut into equal florets. Drying helps crisp edges.
  2. Make Marinade: Mix olive oil, garlic, chili flakes, paprika, salt & pepper to make the perfect marinade.
  3. Coat Evenly: Toss broccoli until every piece is seasoned.
  4. Roast Hot: Bake at 220°C / 425°F for 18–22 minutes. Flip halfway.
  5. Finish with Lemon: Add lemon juice and toppings after roasting.
  6. Serve Hot: Enjoy crispy, spicy broccoli right away!

Notes

  • Dry broccoli well for a crisp texture
  • Don’t overcrowd the tray
  • Adjust chili for spice level

  • Add feta or tahini for a creamy flavor
  • Broil 2 minutes for extra crisp

  • Chef note: Taste once before serving. A pinch of salt or a squeeze of lemon can make the dish perfect!
