Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw, unfiltered honey
  • 2-3 fresh chili peppers, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 small garlic clove, crushed

Equipment

  • Glass jar with tight lid
  • Sharp knife
  • Spoon
  • Clean cutting board

Method
 

  1. Wash and dry the jar, chilies, and all tools completely.
  2. Slice the chili peppers and remove seeds if you want less heat.
  3. Add chilies to the jar, filling no more than half.
  4. Pour honey over the chilies until fully submerged.
  5. Stir gently to remove air bubbles.
  6. Seal the jar and store at room temperature.
  7. Stir once daily and infuse for 7–14 days.
  8. Strain chilies if desired, or leave them for extra heat.

Notes

  • Always keep chilies fully submerged in honey
  • Use raw honey for the best flavor and benefits
  • Start with mild peppers if you’re new

  • Fire honey becomes spicier over time
  • Keep it at room temperature for up to 1 year!
