Ingredients
  

For Filling:
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ¾ cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
For Assembly:
  • 1 refrigerated pie crust (or homemade dough)
  • cups shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup cheddar or provolone
  • 12 slices pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 egg (for wash)
  • 1 tbsp garlic butter (optional for finishing)

Equipment

  • 9-inch pie dish or cast iron skillet
  • Medium skillet (for cooking beef)
  • Mixing bowls
  • Measuring cups/spoons
  • Spatula or spoon
  • Pastry brush
  • Oven mitts
  • Knife or pizza cutter

Method
 

  1. First of all, Take a frypan & cook ground beef, onion, & garlic.
  2. Now, add some pizza sauce, Italian seasoning, & stir it gently for at least 5–7 minutes.
  3. Press bottom crust into pie dish or skillet.
  4. Add beef filling, cheese, and toppings.
  5. Now add the another sheet of pie with top crust, & seal it perfectly and cut into 3-4 pices to steam vents.
  6. Brush with egg wash, bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25–30 minutes.
  7. Serve hot & warm! Enjoy!

Notes

  • Swap ground beef with turkey or plant-based crumbles for variation.
  • For enhanced flavor, add & brush the garlic butter after baking.

  • Add bacon, jalapeños, or pickles for a Big Mac-style version.
  • Store in the fridge for up to 3 days & reheat at 350°F.
