Poke Nachos Yard House Recipe

A fresh and flavorful copycat of the famous Yard House poke nachos! Crispy wonton chips topped with sushi-grade ahi tuna, creamy spicy mayo, and vibrant toppings—perfect for parties or a light gourmet appetizer.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g sushi-grade ahi tuna (diced)
  • 15–20 wonton wrappers (cut into triangles)
  • 1 ripe avocado (diced)
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1–2 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce or ponzu sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp green onions (chopped)
  • 1 jalapeño (thinly sliced, optional)
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
  • Oil (for frying)

Equipment

  • Sharp knife
  • Cutting board
  • Mixing bowl
  • Frying pan or deep fryer
  • Slotted spoon
  • Paper towels
  • Serving platter
  • Sauce squeeze bottle (optional)

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Wonton Chips: Heat oil and fry wonton triangles until golden and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels. Lightly salt them while warm.
  2. Make Spicy Mayo: First, In a bowl, add mayonnaise and sriracha mix to get smooth consistency. Adjust spice level as needed.
  3. Prepare Tuna Mixture: In a bowl, combine diced ahi tuna with soy sauce and sesame oil. & gently toss the mixture.
  4. Assemble the Nachos: Arrange wonton chips on a serving platter. Add a spoonful of tuna on each chip.
  5. Add Toppings: Top with avocado, jalapeños, and green onions.
  6. Drizzle & Garnish and Serve: Drizzle spicy mayo, sprinkle sesame seeds, and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve and enjoy immediately for crunchiness.

Notes

  • Use sushi-grade tuna for the best flavor
  • Assemble chips just before serving
