Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic (optional)

Method
 

  1. Cut broccoli into even-sized florets and rinse well.
  2. Steam broccoli for 4–5 minutes until bright green and fork-tender.
  3. Transfer hot broccoli to a bowl immediately.
  4. Add butter and toss gently until melted and coated.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic if using. Serve warm.
