  • 2–3 tbsp hot water (175°F / 80°C)
  • ¾ to 1 cup milk of choice (2%, oat, almond, soy, etc.)
  • 1–2 tsp sweetener (optional – honey, vanilla syrup, stevia, etc.

  • 1–2 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • ¾ to 1 cup cold milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Sweetener (optional)

Equipment

  • Fine mesh sieve (for sifting matcha)
  • Bamboo whisk or handheld frother
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small bowl or mug
  • Milk frother (optional for hot version)
  • Shaker or mason jar (for iced version)

Method
 

⭐ Hot Matcha Latte:
  1. First, Take a bowl & add matcha powder.
  2. Now add some hot water and whisk it well until you get smooth & silky texture.
  3. Heat milk and froth if desired.
  4. Pour milk into matcha mixture.
  5. Add sweetener, stir, and enjoy hot.
⭐ Iced Matcha Latte:
  1. First, add matcha & hot water into a shaker or jar.
  2. Shake or whisk until smooth.
  3. Add cold milk and sweetener.
  4. Now, pour the matcha in a glass full of ice cubes.
  5. Stir and serve with a straw.

Notes

  • Use ceremonial-grade matcha for a smoother taste if you prefer less bitterness.
  • Barista-blend oat or almond milk works best for a creamy, dairy-free version.
