Ingredients
  

  • 4 thick-cut bone-in pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
For Glaze:
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp minced garlic

  • Cast-iron skillet or grill pan

Method
 

  1. Pork Chops – First, pat the dry chops, season perfectly with the following ingredients: salt, pepper, paprika, & garlic powder.
  2. Make the Perfect Glaze – For this, whisk together the following ingredients in a medium-sized bowl: honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, vinegar, & garlic.
  3. Sear Pork Chops – Prepare the skillet with olive oil on medium-high flame & sear each side of the chops perfectly for at least 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add Glaze – Brush glaze over pork chops; reduce heat and cook until internal temp reaches 145°F (63°C).
  5. Rest & Serve and Enjoy – Let it rest for at least 5 minutes before serving. Brush with extra glaze if desired.

Notes

  • For extra juiciness, brine pork chops in salted water for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • It can also be grilled outdoors for a smoky flavor.
  • Double the glaze if you want extra for drizzling over the sides.
