Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts (halved)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • ½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: Crispy bacon, sesame seeds, or parmesan

Method
 

  1. Get ready your oven at 425°F, or your air fryer at 400°F heat.
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts in oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Arrange on a tray cut-side down and roast 25–30 minutes until crispy.
  4. In a saucepan, mix soy sauce, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar, and garlic. Simmer until thickened.
  5. Toss roasted sprouts with glaze.
  6. Garnish with bacon or sesame seeds and serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra crunch, toss sprouts in 1 tsp cornstarch before roasting.
  • Make glaze ahead and store up to 3 days refrigerated.

  • Air fryer gives a lighter, crispier finish with less oil.
  • Add a squeeze of lime before serving for a bright, fresh twist.
